Proactive Services' Web Filtering Service acts as a "bouncer" between your web site browser and the Internet, blocking any web sites that match known patterns or bad sites, or try to infect you with a virus. This protects against:
I update the rules which govern the service regularly and, similar to an anti-virus program, the service will check for updates and automatically install them without any user intervention. For any web sites that are blocked by mistake you can simply click on a link which reports the address to me for investigation. You can then, at your discretion, choose to by-pass the block and carry on to the web site.
For the provision of this service I charge an installation fee which depends on your computer set-up and a small quarterly fee which pays for related technical support and updates. There are no on-going commitments to continue using the service and if you no longer wish to use the service I will assist with removal for free. Contact me for further details.
